Quick Hiatus

Hello everyone! Just letting you know that I'm going to be away from my blog for a few weeks. (2 weeks or so!)  I will miss reading everyone's blogs and the computer for that matter; however, it'll be nice to spend some much needed time away with family, etc. Just letting you know where I'll be......

Hi!!!! Hope that everyone has had a fantastic Friday!
To be perfectly honest, guys, I'm POOPED. 10 hours is too long for any human being to stand on their feet, but alas, I'm making $$$, so I cannot complain. ;-)
After this long day, there is nothing more I want to do then curl up on my bed with a book, prop my feet up, and then go to sleep.

Sleep is SUCH an amazing thing when you actually think of what happens..you're unconscious for hours on end and you see random pictures in your head (dreams) at times! CRAZZY.
Did you know, according to the National Sleep Research Project, that sleep deprived 18-24 year olds have worse functioning skills than older adults? This is another reason to get your 8 hours of shut eye, folks. :)

Harry Potter Frenzy!!!

This past Wednesday, my boyfriend Chris and I took a little adventure to Orlando to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! We had an absolute blast riding the hogwarts castle ride! During one part of this thrilling experience you are actually IN a Quidditch match! How cool is that!? All you HP nerds know what I'm talkin' about....;-) That was BY FAR my favorite ride. Ever. Ever ever.

And the adventure begins! Look, SNOW in Florida! ;)

Inside of this beautiful structure was the INSANELY AWESOME ride!

Watching the shows are always fun! She was adorable!

I am obsessed with FROZEN Butterbeer. It's truly delightful and addicting. I think I had like 3 rounds.

This is me with one of the nice guys who worked there. He helped me find a wand. 

Really awesome meal that I ate at the Three Broomsticks!

Being Healthy Ain't So Bad. ;-)

Recently, I've been trying to have a healthier life! I'm trying to mostly eat fruits and veggies and work out a lot more! I feel a lot better thus far, and my energy level has DEFINITELY increased!!!

I thought I'd share some things that make this whole transition thing to a healthier lifestyle a little easier. :)

This delicious snack is lower in sugar than most bars and I love to eat one before I go running!

I've found that when I REALLY am dying for something sweet, a banana seems to do the trick! (Though a few pieces of chocolate a day isn't bad at all either!)

I've saved a LOT of money, (and calories for that matter) by packing a lunch instead of buying one every day.

These shoes are amazing, though expensive. I'll be honest I don't own a pair.....yet. ;) I think they'd be a GREAT investment for runners, though. PLUS, look how CUTE! They're pink! AH!

I have a pair of these shorts except they're black. They are so comfy and cute!!! :-) You can find them cheaper at Marshalls or TJ-Maxx....

I think that a reusable water bottle is a MUST have! I really don't like the plastic ones....Plus, look at how cute these are!

These energy drink are AMAZING and are actually good for you!!!!! They are FILLED with B12! My friend sells these and I think I'm gonna have to buy a few cases...Hehe. :-P They are spectacular! Find yourself some!

Anyway, these are just some things I like and you might like them too!

The Best of the Best!

When I think of the phrase, "the best of the best," the first thing that pops into my head is my dear friend Candice. (A.k.a. the gorgeous girl of Teatime Thoughts.) She is the definition of this phrase! When it comes to friendship, she's a pro. I've had the opportunity of knowing her my whole life, and she's blessed me immensely by being apart of it. Ryan Star is quite possibly my favorite male singer. He is a genius, writes his own music, and has a magical voice. He is truly spectacular and lovely and wonderful.

Surrounded.

Today I am reminded that God's beauty surrounds us at all times.

There is nothing more beautiful then seeing an old couple raising their hands in praise during intense worship or seeing a young girl's eyes sparkle with joy at the sight of a burning candle representing God's light. No matter where I am or how I feel God's beauty can always be found...and this is oh so comforting. Whether it's some random flowers outside of Walmart or a good cup of coffee or the face of someone you love, God's beauty shines in every part of this earth...even in the places we consider "dark"
